About me
University (Design, Pontificia Universidad Católica) forced me to permanently observe everything that surrounds me; people, nature, fauna, objects, landscapes, cities... This has always been present for me and today as a Sculptor it acquires a great sense. Everything speaks to me, even the materials...there is nothing forced...everything flows...it is born from matter....
When a spectator connects with my work something wonderful happens because in that instant they connect with something very unique... very personal, my deepest emotions and feelings that are captured during the creative process...
For me, a sculptor who works with bronze or any other metal is one who works from the modeling of the artwork to its retouching in the metal and patina, through the mold, the retouching of the wax, the refractory molds, the de-waxing and finally its casting. It is in the course of the whole process that the work is infused with your spirit.
